PRE-K TEACHER
Location: Hopkins
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time 30+
Our Hopkins school is looking for a Preschool Float/Center Float Teacher. This teacher will work 2 days in our pre-kindergarten classroom and 2 days in classrooms throughout the center.
INFANT TEACHER
Location: Downtown Minneapolis
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time 30+
Our downtown Minneapolis school is looking for an Infant Teacher. This teacher will work exclusively in the Infant 1 room.
TODDLER TEACHER
Location: Downtown Minneapolis
Full-Time/Part-Time: Full-Time 30+
Our downtown Minneapolis school is looking for a Toddler Teacher. This teacher will work 2 days in our toddler classroom and 2 days in classrooms throughout the center.
Qualifications
- Provide documentation of US citizenship or eligibility to work in the US
- Complete any background information/criminal record check required by licensing.
- Have the ability to lift and carry children and other items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Provide documentation of education and training in Early Childhood Education or Child Development, or an equivalent field, as required by licensing.
- Provide documentation of current first aid and CPR training within 90 days of employment and keep certification current thereafter.
- Display a positive attitude towards work and children.
- Understand child development and have the ability to foster physical, mental, and emotional growth and socialization skills in children.
- Be able to design and carryout planned learning experiences which will encourage maximum personal growth for each child in the group.
- Be able to direct the activities of assistants, aides, substitutes, and coworkers to promote a supportive, cooperative working atmosphere.
- Be able to establish and maintain good communication with the parents.
- Be a skilled observer and recorder of children’s progress.
- Be able to respond immediately to any emergency situation.
- Be willing to continually increase knowledge in the field of early childhood education.
